Did you say HALF a KAROO Lamb!?!?
Yes, that’s exactly what we said because this weekend, Tong Masters, you have the chance of winning half a Karoo Lamb from one of the top butchers in the Western Cape – Ryan Boon. And on top of this, the winner will be able to choose how they want it cut!
Honestly, we’re super chuffed to have these guys onboard. Not only are we massive fans of finding quality meat but we’re also on a mission to promote local butchers and help them spread the word. And let’s be fair, if half a Karoo Lamb doesn’t spread the word, then we don’t know what will!!
So this is what’s up for grabs this weekend of 27 November – 30 November. What a prize! You know the drill by now but for those of you that are new to the platform, simply post a pic of your braai on Twitter sometime between Friday and midnight on Sunday with the tag #ratemybraai in the text. To be eligible for the prize, you need to be following us on Twitter – @ratemybraai.
REQUIREMENTS: it’s incredibly simple. To win the half Karoo Lamb, Ryan Boon has asked that you guys bring your best LAMB Flame Game. They want to see what you guys can do with any cut of lamb. Show some flare as they’ll be choosing the winner!!
That’s the good news – the bad news is that we can only fulfil this prize for those of you that are prepared to collect from the Newlands butchery in Cape Town. We know it’s disappointing but we had a thought on this – if you can’t make the trip, perhaps you know someone in Cape Town that you could gift this prize to as a Christmas or Birthday present. We know that we’d be pretty damn chuffed if someone offered us any piece of lamb from the Karoo!

GOOD LUCK TONG MASTERS!
