Individual steaks are soooo 2019, my friends. Everyone knows the only way to serve that perfectly cooked (and sliced) medium rare ribeye that you slaved over is on a plankie!

Not all plankies are created equal, though. Yes, you can get one from your local grocery store, but now you have a chance to get one made – with love and care – especially for you, by the legendary Welly and Cellie.

With your name engraved on it, nogal!

This weekend (Friday 5 November to Monday 8 November), we will be giving away a personalised braai plankie by Welly and Cellie.

It is made from African Rosewood, measures approximately 540x360x25mm, and includes 4 white sauce bowls.

The winner’s name of choice will be laser engraved in the bottom left corner of the plankie, and then delivered to either your door or your nearest Post Net.

This week you have to earn your keep, though. The braai submission that receives the MOST RATINGS (no matter what that rating is), which we track on the back end, takes home the plankie. So get promoting, tong masters!
