Take your staanrib to the next level! Sure, you can stand your grid next to the fire, but there comes a time when you need to embrace the new and improved. Our braai stand is exactly that!

After hours and hours of braai time, our team of staanrib experts have come up with a set of angles that we think delivers the perfect braai stand – delivering the best balance of heat from your fire.

Made from solid steel, the fire proof layer of paint gives it a rustic, but classy look. A 35cm base makes it incredibly solid. A full 40cm of height means you can make a proper fire under the meat, while the grid holder base of 4cm, together with the extended angle, means you can fit any grid into the stand.

The staanrib epitomises what a braai should be: Low maintenance, few ingredients, very little effort, yet absolutely delicious. It also requires a proper wood fire and takes a minimum of three hours to cook. Now that’s a braai!

Slide that grid into the stand, take a seat, pick up a glass, and let the fire do it’s work. You don’t even have to wait for coals! Turn the grid every half an hour or so, or whenever that glass needs a refill, making sure the meat cooks evenly. Cooking time should be approximately three hours.
